What Tucson Lawn Care Pros is

Tucson Lawn Care Pros is a free quote service. We connect Tucson-area homeowners with independent local landscaping, lawn care, irrigation and tree companies for free, no-obligation quotes. The company you choose quotes, contracts and does the work directly with you.

We are not a landscaper, a lawn service or a contractor, and we don't perform yard work of any kind. The companies you hear from are separate, independent businesses.

Tucson Lawn Care Pros is an independent quote service and is not affiliated with any landscaping company of a similar name.

Tucson Lawn Care Pros is not a licensed contractor and holds no Arizona Registrar of Contractors or Arizona Department of Agriculture license.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your yard

Use the quote form to share your ZIP code, what you need (mowing, drip repair, tree or palm trimming, weeds, turf, cleanup or a new desert landscape) and any timing.

  2. We pass it on

We send your request to independent local companies that offer that kind of work in your area. We usually reply the same day.

  3. Companies contact you

A company typically reaches out to ask questions or look at the yard before giving a quote.

  4. You decide

Compare the quotes. There's no cost and no obligation to hire anyone.

Want a sense of cost first? Our Tucson landscaping price guide lists typical ranges from published cost guides. They are estimates, not quotes or bids, and your price depends on the yard.

What to verify before you hire in Arizona

Arizona has specific rules for yard work, and it pays to check them before you sign. This is general information, not legal advice.

  • Routine maintenance: mowing and routine lawn, garden, shrub and tree maintenance need no Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license under the gardener exemption.
  • Installs and bigger jobs: irrigation, hardscape, pavers, walls, artificial turf, or any landscape job of $1,000 or more (or one that needs a permit) should be done by an ROC-licensed contractor, typically with an R-21 or CR-21 Hardscaping & Irrigation Systems license. Ask for the ROC number and verify it at roc.az.gov.
  • Weed control: for pre-emergent treatments, or any company that advertises weed control, ask for its Arizona Department of Agriculture Pest Management Division license and verify it. Gardeners who apply herbicide under the maintenance exemption must give you treatment records.
  • Trees and palms: no Arizona license for tree trimming was found. Ask about insurance and experience, and whether an arborist holds ISA certification (a private credential you can check at isa-arbor.com).
  • Native plants: check with the Arizona Department of Agriculture before moving or selling any native plant, such as a saguaro, mesquite or palo verde.
